Choices. Choices. Choices.

There are always so many choices; and too few worthwhile.

It is easy to become confused or overwhelmed; not choosing looks better and better but that too, is a choice. And it is the worst of the lot because you have given up your right to choose for yourself, volunteering to do as you are told. Blech!

What is the decision to be made? 

• Careers changes?
• Choosing a pet?
• Buying a home?
• Accepting a proposal?
• Cancelling an event?
• Buying a car?
• Wanting a new haircut?

The perception of “large” and “small” or “important” and “trivial” are entirely in the eye (and heart) of the decision maker – do not allow ANYONE (yes, this includes YOU!) to diminish your desires or your choices – let your heart be your guide.

This is the day for following your heart and choosing accordingly; you really have no choice as it hurts too much not to follow your passion – it is an anguish you would not soon forget, and frankly, you can do without it.

The moonlight is silvery-soft and transformative; all things bathed in these beams become beautifully muted. The moon conjures not only beauty but also romance and adventure, and we are happy to float on to that Wonderland.

And of course, you know how dreams are.

Enjoy the dream but remember, it is a dream. It is a bit illusion designed for your pleasure rather than reality for your growth. It is a lovely place to visit but you absolutely may not live here.

We spend a great deal of time satisfying the wants and needs of others – friends, family, loved ones, co-workers, bosses – often short-changing ourselves in the process.

NOT TODAY!

Allow yourself the time, space, and peace you need to cultivate your own truth. The Full Moon (and The Holidays!) will be here before you know it – time really flies when you have responsibilities. Stop and consider yourself, your own truth, your own path – if not now, then when? Exactly! Now is the time! This is not selfishness but rather an opportunity to improve yourself from within and better serve yourself (and everyone else by extension).

Now for the scary part; UNPLUG!

In so far as you are able (if you are at work, you will probably be called upon to answer the phone or respond to email), unplug from your various gadgets – no iPad, no phone, no surfing any devices. The outside world will not only distract you, it will drown out your better angels if you allow it.

As is so often the case, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Here, we have a helpful weekend reminder; a good time to get some rest, have some fun, and catch up on some chores – don’t overdo any of it.

No one enjoys waiting and sometimes we become impatient with procedures. 

We are only human, and it is natural to “Want It Right Now!” once decisions have been made – too bad! because that is not usually how things work.

The process must be respected.

The holidays (and depending upon where you live, Winter) are approaching and we all need a bit more money. 

THE GOOD NEWS: Money is out there, available upon request, if you are willing to pursue it.

THE BAD NEWS: You are at the mercy of the process and you will need to embrace that on the front end.

Find a way to be patient and comfortable with the processes at hand – you cannot remake this wheel at this time so do not waste  the precious energy – perhaps a cup of tea.

Chemistry or magic? It does not matter – when the right two are united, amazing things can happen.

Keep your eye open today; there is an opportunity to create an amazing partnership – friends, lovers, business, ideas, whatever – between two independently good entities (people, ideas, things, whatever).

Do not dismiss your instincts, do not allow yourself to shrink back, and do not let the opportunity slip away.

You made need to draw upon some brave and crazy but you can do it – and it is worth the risk.

There are times we find ourselves moved to follow, compelled by feelings and emotions towards ends we are not sure we desire, caught up in a tidal wave of conviction and charisma.

POTUS Barak Obama counted on that tidal wave among young people needing a change; he delivered on his promise of change (to the best of his ability within the structure of our system).

And the same can be said for Nazi Leader Adolph Hitler.

Two very different men. Two very different outcomes. Both King of Cups.

Today is not the day to follow this King; a leader with no followers is just a man taking walk – let this guy walk on without you. Whatever he is up to can pass peacefully if he is on a stroll by himself.

Choose your alliances carefully today.
