Everyone has problems; sizes and shapes may vary but everyone has something. Keeping that in mind, there is no good reason to make anything worse by increasing the drama for yourself. Take a quick inventory, make a pro-con list, organize the issues by size, priority, ease of correction, AND ATTACK!!

You are human, you have human-sized problems, you can solve them with mundane solutions. Do not allow yourself to make them bigger or more serious than they are; you do not need that drama in your life – your energy is better spent tackling the issues directly.

You can do it, get to it!

WOW!!! GET A LOAD OF THIS BUSHEL OF SUNSHINE!!!

Don’t panic – it’s going to be fine!

This is actually quite perfect for our Mercury Retrograde (MRx) in Leo; this is the time to review, reconsider, revamp, and all the other re’s we normally put off for another time – guess what? the time is right now!!

So, got to the tapes! As you are reviewing the re-plays, breaking down the frames, re-living some moments, and re-alizing you should have done/said/behaved/etc differently, you will likely feel the stings of grief, loss, regret. If that isn’t bad enough, you will have no choice but to re-cognize it is your own doing – no one else to blame, dammit all anyway!

Okay, transformation is often painful and if you want to come out on the other side of Leo’s MRx better than you went in, there is work to be done, It is certainly uncomfortable, and likely upsetting (really – make sure there is plenty of ice cream and chocolate in the house), but it is all totally survivable. And I tell you what’s more; you re-live this stuff to finally re-lease this stuff, and heal yourself.

It really is the ultimate in self-care.

What have we seen this week? Many have discovered they were aligned with all the wrong people, groups, or political leaders – the chickens are coming home to roost, and only the right partnerships (based on such old fashioned values as honor, intelligence, education, respect, diligence, humility, grace, and the like) will get things moving in positive directions. NOTE: We are already moving, and the time for drifting has passed – we must now pick a direction and travel with intention. So, choose your partner and put on your dancing shoes – let’s get this party started!!!!

YOWZA!!!!!!!  LOOK WHO HAS ARRIVED ON THE SCENE!!!!!!!

As you may know from previous entries, The Fool is the most important card in the deck – nothing can happen without his taking the first step! – and here he is, for the first time in a long while.  Lace up your sturdy walking shoes, pack a lunch, put batteries in the flashlight  and grab your favorite map – it is time to go!

SNAP OUT OF IT AND CALM DOWN!!!

You already know change has been swirling around in the air, just as you also know Mercury is in retrograde along with some other potent astro-weather stirring everything up from our toes to our hair – don’t believe me? Watch the news!! – so you cannot be surprised to learn the time to get going is now. And yes, Rome may not have been built in a day but it did indeed start with a first brick; everything starts somewhere, somehow.

IT IS TIME TO TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH!

In all endeavors, there is a point where you know you must take a leap of faith – ready or not, here I come! – and trust the process will hold you. We are at that point right now; take a leap of faith, trust yourself to embark on this new journey, and keep moving forward. You can do it, stop second-guessing yourself with the negative committee in your head – tell them to sit down and shut up!

Everything you have been building is beginning to show your efforts in a positive way; you can see your progress, and there is no stopping you now!! 

Take a minute to survey your handiwork, and smile! You have come a long way in a rather short time (all things being equal), and you have every reason to be proud of yourself! Take a little bow, have a little wine, enjoy!

This is just a rest stop – not a vacation!

There is still much to do but what is the point if you cannot periodically celebrate your successes. 

So, whistle while you work and enjoy this week!

The Queen of Swords is deceptive; she is lovely, demure, and brilliant but her sword is absolutely NOT ornamental. She knows EXACTLY how to use it. She will never run; when diplomacy fails, she will fight – and she will win!  

Start the week off on the right foot; be confident in your ability to handle whatever comes your way – do not be intimidated by the size of any obstacle in your path, you are armed and ready!

Karma. Growth. Balance.

The weekend is here, and for many it is the last weekend before kids return to school. There may be four weeks of Summer left but it will be hard to feel that spirit while kids are doing homework at the kitchen table.

Don’t panic, it won’t help.

 Let this weekend be about striking the right balance between what you want, what you need, and what you have; make sure you are not overly focused on what is missing from your life. For my own part, I am keeping in mind the wise words of Sheryl Crow “It’s not having what you want, it’s wanting what you’ve got.”

Balance is certainly the key – not an easy thing but certainly necessary.

Enjoy the weekend: soak up some sun if you can – love the life you have!

Let us take a good long look at the Ace of Cups; clearly, our cup runs over in every direction, an outpouring of emotion available for personal growth and investment  as well as commitment. This  is the second appearance of this card this week (it was part of the full moon read), and it will appear again before the week is out. This is fleeting energy, and we absolutely must make the most of this energy while it is here. 

(Now, I hear you out there, “You keep saying that but you don’t tell me how!”)

On the heels of yesterday’s Hermit, this Ace needs you to look inside yourself to find your questions as well as your answers; who are you? where are you going? what do you want?

WHO WILL YOU BECOME WHEN IT ALL COMES TOGETHER?!?!?!?!  

This is the time to look deep inside for your true heart’s desire; that is your destination, plot your course!! Commit to following your bliss in every practical way you can – a leap of faith may be required. Best of luck!

The Hermit has reappeared on our landscape. This is not a big surprise with the Six of Swords dropping in every twenty minutes (or at least so it seems) to send us on our own pathways; anyone trying to tag along will be dropping by the wayside as you move along. This is to be expected, and is exactly as it should be.

Gather your best tools, and get to work; take notes for future reference. Alone is not the same as lonely – YOU GOT THIS!!
