February has been a very romantic month for a great many people (couples breaking up, making up, breaking down, starting fresh). As we finish our Valentines heading into March Madness, many will feel their energy accelerating towards The Great Unknown.

DO NOT PANIC! ENJOY THE RIDE!!

If you are in love, relish every moment!

If you think you are in love, give it every chance to flourish.

If you are afraid of love, do your best to be brave – you don’t want to miss out!

Be happy, safe, and well…but also brave and crazy!

Start your week off on the right foot: DO IT TRUE!

Whatever your plans this week, be honest with yourself, and everyone else. If you say it, you must do it because as we all know, the only truth is action.

Not everyone will appreciate your honesty; do it anyway – it is too important.

As always, do the best you can with what you have; be honest, be brave, be you.

Recognition. Relationships. Inhibition.

The weekend is upon us, and for some, the spirit of Valentine continues; love has very definitely been heavily in the air this month. As we head into the last two weeks of February, many cannot help but feel a certain everything-old-is-new-again energy manifesting in rekindled and rejuvenated love affairs.

“How long have I loved you? Perhaps always…”

This weekend, you may finds yourself realizing uncomfortable truths about your love; is he terminally married? is she a serial cheat? is he unwilling to commit? is she already too clingy? What about you – are you authentic in your love? are you building intimacy or distraction? Flaws real or imagined, now is the time to ask yourself:

“What do I want in my love?”

“What are my deal breakers?”

Make a list and check it twice! You must know what you want, what you can handle, where you can compromise, and where you stand. Love is not for the weak or meek; it destroys as much as it builds, and you must be ready to take it on or leave it be – there is no halfway point.

If you are currently feeling a bit inhibited in your love, do not fret; there is no harm in keeping your own counsel and not revealing your secrets just because. However, if you are withholding out of fear or some sort of manipulative tactic, the time has come to change your ways or move on; no one wants the ‘friend zone.’ 

And as always, there is the time-honored weekend option favored by so many…

 Chivalry and romance are not dead but they can certainly be hard to come by…and is that really what you want? A courtly illusion of love? A sham of intimacy?

Probably not.

Flowers, chocolates, jewelry, and all the trappings representing romance are lovely to be sure but they are not the same as the affection, emotion and intimacy they are meant to represent – they are often just pretty distractions. Is that what you really want?

Probably not.

When Knight of Cups arrives on the scene, know you are looking at a charismatic delight promising to be a great deal of head-turning fun but unlikely to develop into anything real or lasting. It is not the Knight’s fault – this is her (or his) nature.

Enjoy this time for what it is – a romantic interlude – but do not get lost in late night promises that just don’t mean a thing.

If Monday’s message was a warning of imminent departure, today’s message advises us to gather our resources as we will surely need them to move forward. 

The Emperor provides a practical, law-and-order-levers-and-pulleys approach to management; the ducks are in a row and would not dream of putting a webbed foot out of line. 

The time has come to apply your most serious and practical efforts to the tasks near to hand; roll up your sleeves, there is much work to be done – your success is your own hands!

The time of departure approaches; whatever you are planning, the time to actually move forward is looming large on the horizon – get on your big girl boots!!

NOTE: Every plan is perfect until the first shot is fired. Please keep your moves fluid to adjust as needed.

Heads up, shoulders back, eyes wide open, and bags packed!

Nurture. Inspire. Consequences. 

The weekend has arrived and in many parts of The US, bad weather is on the way. Here in Chicago, Snowmagedon is expected this weekend (starting Thursday night), so a message to hunker down could not be more timely.

This weekend should be full of nurturing; hot cocoa, woolen socks, hearty soups, fluffy blankets – keep yourself and your loved ones safe, well and warm.

But as long as you are spending the weekend indoors, taking good care, consider spending some time seeking inspiration; read a good book, watch an old movie, break out the colored pencils and a journal – allow yourself to accept any creative ideas that may come to you. (NOTE: You cannot force this; if no creative ideas come to you, do not worry about it. Have a cup of tea and enjoy a crossword puzzle.)

You already know all of our actions have consequences. This weekend, results will be closer than they appear; expect swift returns on your energy actions (what you do rather than what you think or say) so be prepared. Do your best to keep it positive.
