Impetuous. Growth. Evaluation. Challenge.

HERE IT IS: THE LAST HOORAY OF SUMMER!!

This is it.

After this weekend, all the kids are back to school, the pools will be closed, and football season will begin in earnest. Where did the Summer go? I have no idea – time flies whether you are having fun or not.

Since we can all agree Fall will be upon us in full before we know it, this is a good time to do some pre-Fall thinking, planning, gathering, storing. Evaluate the year to this point:

  • What have you accomplished?
  • What have you manifested?
  • What are you still working towards?
  • How will you adjust your pace to your needs?

If you feel you have had some false starts or set-backs, no problem; re-evaluate your plan, make adjustments, get back on track.

EXAMPLE: I’ve been sick quite a bit this Summer – nothing major, cold/allergy/sinus stuff, totally survivable and incredibly irritating – and as a result, my exercise routine fell apart. Not a big deal, just need to start again. No problem. Meeting with my trainer on Saturday morning, getting back on the horse!

Another good use of this weekend’s energy: plan your Fall/Winter pantry. Will you be making cakes, pies, soup, porridge, chili? Take an inventory, make a list of essentials (tea, coffee, herbs, spices, oils, vinegars, flour, sugar, broth, beans, pasta, etc) to stock your pantry in the next week or two.

Finally, and always a good idea, be sure to enjoy time with family and friends this weekend. We are all busy all of the time; create space to spend quality time with people (and animals!) who really matter to you.

As always, be happy, safe, and well, as you enjoy the weekend.

With Love, Luck, and Light,

Your Selene
