Okay, once more for the folks in back grumble-muttering about “Why isn’t hurry up a virtue?”

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE!

Do not be fooled by the insta-life social media has taught you to expect and demand. in fact, KNOCK THAT OFF!

Some things – important things – cannot be rushed.

— You want to make croissants? It takes three days.

— Want to make a baby? It take 40 weeks.

— Want to change the direction of your life? It takes however long it takes. And don’t be in a hurry or you will miss all the best parts of the journey – which is almost entirely what it is about in the first place!

THEME: BY THE BOOK. Rules are not actually mean to be broken, and guidelines and suggestions can be quite useful. You may be looking for more flexibility than is currently available but patience is required; no one actually likes “go along to get along” but sometimes you can get farther faster by staying in your own lane. This is one of those times. Choose your lane , hold your line, and allow progress (even when it is slow) to move at its own pace.

Spring is in the air, we can all feel it, and if you notice dogs and squirrels are extra frisky, you know why. This new energy is fresh, promising, and anxiously awaited by pretty much everyone.

What will you do with it?

“Nothing” is certainly an acceptable answer if that is how you are feeling but I would just say this: there will never be another Spring of 2021 – will you regret letting it pass you by?

Think about what you want to do, where you want to go, and who you want to be – whatever seeds you choose to plant now (New Moon on the 13th), will certainly teach you the power of manifestation over the next 12 months.

THEME: REGENERATION. Starting fresh with a new beginning. Much of Spring is about regeneration, and we can make just as much use of it as the trees and the plants. We can reimagine, recreate, realign – if we choose to make something of all this fresh energy.

Some messages are too important not to repeat; twice this week, we received the same message on two different days (New Life, Exchanging Gifts). We already know change has been in the air, and community has been tested for strength and resilience, and it is 100% time to face the indisputable facts: if you want to improve your situation, you must be willing to move out of your comfort zone.

To be clear, I am not suggesting everyone go out and buy a race car or a trampoline.

I am suggesting it is time to take a good, hard look at the life you have right now, and decide for yourself what you want to do, and how you would like to do it. And as always, please remember not choosing is also a choice – you will still be responsible for the outcome.

THEME: NEW LIFE. This message is coming through loud and clear – two days in a row! – and really should not come as a surprise to anyone. Twelve plus months of social distancing, masks, quarantines, closures, losses, etc., etc., etc., have shown us all just how much changes can occur in a short period time. But not all changes are entirely bad (flowers grow in volcanic ash, as an example), and rather than looking to “get back to normal,” it is time to focus on springing forward. If not now, when????

INFLUENCE: The Moon (18). PAY ATTENTION! Do not allow yourself to be fooled by a trick of the light. The dreamy light of The Moon can make us forget to see things as they are (rather than how we would like them to be, or how they are presented).

A big part of anticipating Spring is looking forward to new things – changes and opportunities – growing before our eyes. Be aware that not every new thing is good or bad but for our own perspective. Keep an open mind, and you may be delighted by what you find. Or not.

Have you ever noticied how willing we are to make exceptions to our own boundaries?

WHO’S READY FOR SPRING?!?!?!?

Yes, I know – EVERYONE!

While there may still be plenty of snow around (and possibly, on the way), that “C’MON, SPRING!!!” feeling is certainly making itself felt. Generally speaking, I am all for enjoying the seasons as they do their various things but sometimes, we just want to give in to that Spring feeling – SPROING!

Things you can do RIGHT NOW to coax Spring into your life and home? De-clutter (start by putting some of the Winter stuff away – probably won’t need more than one pair of boots, as an example), organize (closets cleaned and aired, move forward whatever you no longer use, need, or love), grow flowers (in a pot in the house), make strawberry lemonade (if you live in the American South, you know this is strawberry season – for the rest of us, those strawberries are in the grocery stores). Overall, the goal is to do anything that helps you, and your home, feel refreshed – enjoy deciding for yourself what will help you freshen up.

THEME: EXCHANGING GIFTS. Sharing is caring. This is an ideal time to share with friends, family, loved ones, and neighbors. Consider baking cookies, and sending some of them next door (as an example).
