The appearance of The Star shines a light on your desires:

• What does your heart truly want?
• What is your deepest heart’s desire?

These questions may seem the same at first glance. They are not. Please consider them sincerely before giving your desire the power of a voiced wish. It is important to remember The Star carries guidance in the form of a subtle warning:

Be careful what you wish for, for surely you shall get it.

Living an authentic life is the responsibility of each of us. This is not news – we all know this to be true. 

Right now, you hear the drums; you feel the rhythm in your bones. Your blood flows to a quickening beat, eager to respond.

IT IS TIME TO HEED THE CALL!! 

If you are honest with yourself, you know this is true. And for a long time, you have known what you must do. Your time is now.

At the risk of becoming a *broken record, Transitions and Transformations are the consistent  messages of late: 

• Death will not stop her surge to the fore.
• The Equinox is upon us.
• The astro-weather will not let up (for more info, consult Madame Zolonga at  www.madamezolonga.com).

What should we be doing with all of this transition energy? What are the big takeaways? The more things change, the more they stay the same.

The important things do not change – some things are always true. After much careful deliberation, I have come to the following conclusions:

• Be honest: first with yourself, then with others.
• Pay attention: watch the details and work smart, instead of hard.
• Stand by your word: do not make promises you cannot keep, and be sure to keep the promises you make.
• Don’t be afraid: it’s okay to try new things, just start small – sample new foods, try a different lipstick – and work up to bigger, better things as you find it enjoyable.
• Laugh out loud: do this every day. Life is very funny – see the humor.
• Speak softly: I do not mean quietly but rather gently and with consideration. A bit of kindness goes a very long way.
• Count your blessings: be grateful for all the ways you are blessed, and do not think about what is missing.
• Head up: Pride only goes before the fall when we inflate it. It is okay to take an amount of pride in yourself, your skills, your accomplishments and remember what blessings helped you (se above).
• LOVE: Love yourself, love others, and remember you are loved.

Autumn arrives this week, bringing scarves, sweaters, boots, bonfires, and pumpkins. Let us welcome any changes that arrive with the same enthusiasm we show for pumpkin muffins and lattes.

Do you have a taste for chaos? Is drama your favorite speed?

No – good!

Yes – KNOCK IT OFF!!

Keeping order – food on the table, kids to school, clean laundry, an ordered life – is all for the good. No one is suggesting you obsess over order, time tables, and cleanliness, but know the importance of maintaining a well-balanced life.

The routine bores you? So be a grown-up and add some appropriate fun:

• See a movie – go alone and you won’t have to share the popcorn!
• Take a class – stimulate your mind with something new!
• Go for a drive – A little jaunt with the windows open and the radio blasting can revive you in minutes!

You may have a great deal of responsibility but no one says you must be miserable about it. 🙂

Stop worrying so much; all is well because you do as must be done selflessly and without hesitation.

Continuing form yesterday’s Queen of Pentacles, we are still feeling the love. 

If you are not enjoying the energy, friendship, fellowship and love around you, you have no one to blame but yourself.
