THEME: POISED. You are in the right place; sit with calm patience, and wait for the moment that belongs to you. Leap accordingly.

INFLUENCE: Queen of Cups. Make your decisions from a place of heart – you know what feels right, and what does not.

INFLUENCE: The Hermit (9). When we know “alone” is not the same as “lonely,” we have no issue with self-reliance. You know what you bring to the table, no problem eating alone.

Be honest with yourself first.

Why? Because if you can’t do that, you can’t do anything with authenticity.

When your mind wanders, where does it go? Are they all “good” memories? Probably not. Are they all “hurtful” reminders? I certainly hope not but for some people, negative pops up most vividly, usually because it is unresolved. For me, this is what shadow work is all about – facing what is unresolved in the past, accepting your own part, asking for forgiveness.

NOTE: When I ask for forgiveness (Forgive my frailties. Forgive my hubris. Forgive my ignorance. Etc.), though I speak it out loud to The Universe, I am predominantly speaking to myself. A big part of being honest with yourself is accepting your responsibility, and forgiving yourself. Not easy but too important to ignore.

THEME: BLESSED. Unforeseen gifts and blessings – keep your eyes open, be ready to receive. An attitude of gratitude will never go amiss.

INFLUENCE: Queen of Pentacles. Use your resources wisely but with a generous heart. Honor your attitude of gratitude this giving season.

INFLUENCE: The Devil (15). Distractions can provide needed breaks in our busy lives. CAUTION: This is a fine place to visit but you absolutely cannot live here! Do not settle in – have some fun and move on – you’ve got important work to do!

As with most important things, change is not easy. Even when we know it is necessary, change is often the last resort. Why? Most likely it’s just “the devil you know” but that is generally a thought distortion. Think of all the times you have heard “I should have done it years ago!” or “I don’t know why I was so reluctant.” after the change is complete. Sure, you have undoubtedly heard “I should have left well-enough alone!” often enough as well but I ask you this:

Do you really think you were put on earth to settle for “well enough”?

There is no right or wrong answer – there is what is in your heart, and how you chose to follow it. Or not.

THEME: REGENERATION. Your ability to reinvent yourself is always within you – if you want it. Looking into a new year, this may be a good time to consider, “Who do I want to be in 2021?” and start working on that with both intention and purpose.

As we step into December, we cannot help but acknowledge it is the beginning of the end of the year. The next 30 days will likely be filled with activities devoted to the various holidays as well as wrapping up 2020 in preparation for January 1st, 2021. As you prepare yourself, your family, and your home, keep your eyes (heart and mind, too!) open to closing December 31st on a high note.

As we say good bye to November, let’s take a moment to appreciate the many blessings we have received this year.

As the year of perfect vision, 2020 has given us every opportunity to review our lives, ourselves, our gifts, our challenges, our strengths, our relationships, and anything else we may have been choosing not to look directly in the eye up until now; take a moment to be grateful for all that you have learned.

Knowledge isn’t just power, it is also motivation. What will you do to make the changes you want to see? What will you do to maintain what you want to keep? Do you finally understand the difference between tolerance and acceptance? The entirety of 2020 has been laying the groundwork for our moving forward spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, practically.
