I hope everyone is recovering nicely from the big energy blasts of last week as we wind up the month of March. We continue to ride out Mercury retrograde (MRx), and if you find you feel called by The Sun itself, know you are not alone. The sap is rising for us all.
Our week opens with an overall energy of patience and passivity; this is a time for contemplation and change of perspective. This is a useful reminder as the MRx wind-up is well-known for packing a serious punch as it slams the door on its way out. Recognizing the energy is not the same as being immune to it.
TAKEAWAY: Tread lightly this week. Give yourself, and everyone else, a break. Besides, the fewer toes you smash, the fewer apologies you will need to make.

With apologies for not posting it, the card of Thursday, 03/21/19 (yesterday) leading into the weekend was Eight of Cups. So, reading them in order, we would have:
Eight of Cups
Knight of Cups
King of Cups
Nine of Swords
For the purposes of this reading, I will consider this Pisces slamming the door on the way out. How we feel about our ideas, plans, and projects is important but we must be careful; not all dreams are pleasant, peaceful, or productive. Move through the weekend mindfully; Mercury remains in retrograde, the high energy of the mid-week is not fully dissipated, and Aries is blazing on the scene – landmines everywhere!
Enjoy the first weekend of Spring!

The energies of this day are very, VERY strong – do NOT fight them – and they may be too much for you to use or take in at this time. That’s okay. You are not compelled to jump in with both feet exactly immediately.
ENTER THE HERMIT!!!
Take time out to contemplate what you would like to do, how you would like to do it, and how best you feel you can use the tremendous unfolding energy to further your own growth. You may do this peacefully, on your own, and in your own time. Yoga, meditation, self-care recommended.

Welcome to the weekend!
This was a particularly trying week for many, and we are happy to see it draw to a close. As we close out this week, we look at things with clear eyes and sharp thoughts; we are not easily fooled by others (fooling ourselves is a very different category), and we are not afraid to follow our thoughts and passions… that’s not to say we don’t know exactly how costly and painful that can sometimes be. But as always, we know it is well worth the risk.
Enjoy the weekend any way you like – Monday will arrive soon enough.
And if you feel up for a flight of fancy, spread your little wings.

“The Magician is always within, waiting for the call to flex his muscles; bring that energy to the fore and be amazed by what you can do. Just be careful where you point it!”
J. M. CeCe

If the weather’s got you down, take heart! It is already changing (and will likely continue to do so – for better or worse) so deal with it as it comes, and stop wasting your power on fretting. (I’m looking right at you, Chicago!)
Some setbacks were experienced this week but never fear, The Magician is here!
When this energy presents itself, consider yourself slapped with the realization there really isn’t anything you cannot handle (do it yourself, have it done, whatever) if you approach from a position of strength. That’s the key to this energy; never doubt the strength within.
CAUTION: Power brings responsibility. Be careful where you point that thing! The appropriate order of operations is point/aim/shoot for good reason.
And because every woman has known one or two in her life, I leave you with the thoughts of the Wilson Sisters. 😉

Okay, fair enough to say, sometimes things do not turn out as we planned or hoped. However, the very good news is no one has ever died from disappointment.
Time to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, take yourself home.
Fortify yourself with extra self-care, eat well, and get some rest.
You can start fresh in a day, or two.
And because every breakdown gives us an opportunity to rebuild. I leave you with Tom Petty.
