If you feel a desire to take half a step back, or outright refuse what is heading your way, feel free to do exactly that. You are not obligated to accept (or even tolerate) everything you are offered; you are at liberty to decide what you want for yourself.

INFLUENCE: Two of cups. Let Love rule! It is not enough for love to be the answer, it must also be the action.

STRATEGY: Three of Swords. The disappointment of truth. This is not a tragedy – no one has ever died from disappointment – so do not waste your resources on wallowing in manufactured drama. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, have cup of tea (or coffee, or whiskey, or water, or whatever), and get back on your path.
