HAPPY NEW YEAR* AND WELCOME TO 2019!!!
I hope everyone finds themselves warm, safe, happy and well in the new year; if you are not, may you find your way in 2019.
For a great many, January 1st marks a brand new start – projects, renewal dates, tax year – and as with all new starts, we should be looking back to where we have been; what worked, what challenged, what taught, what changed? We cannot dwell on the events and pathways of 2018 but we must know what to keep and what to let fall away as we move forward on our 2019 path.
SEE THE STAR, MAKE A WISH!!!
While the spread above is to be read top to bottom, I choose to start this reading by focusing on the final card. The Star tells the tale of this week: it is time to make your wish for 2019. Keep that in mind as we look at the supporting cards; the flow can be taken big picture, left to right, top to bottom for an overall picture but for more specific pieces, let’s look at more interior line plays:
- Strength – Two of Cups – The Star: Looking for Love? Start with bravery, welcome intimacy, follow your heart’s desire.
- Nine of Swords – The Magician – The Star: Too many ideas? Sort them out and get to work – wishes require effort – and know you can make things happen!
- Seven of Pentacles – Two of Cups – The Magician – The Star: There’s no stopping you in 2019! What do you want to grow? Your business? Your love? Your knowledge? Make your choices, create your plan, and get underway!
Looking at the big overall picture, this is your year to find your best voice, get things done, and make strides up your pathway. If you want it, if you truly wish for it, if you back it up with positive intention as well as appropriate action, you will likely find the pieces falling into place with astonishing regularity. As always, some bravery will be required.
REMINDER: Nothing written here is either a promise or a curse; what you make of this year and its energy is entirely up to you. Best of luck whatever you may decide.
*For those keeping the Celtic Wheel (and November 1st as your New Year’s Day), this is a good time to take inventory; are we nurturing the seeds we planted? Are we on the right track, or do we need to make changes? Are we satisfied with our relationships, or is it time to cut cords of attachment and be free (KEEP IN MIND: cords of love are always welcome, it is attachment and its expectation that need cutting when we are ready to face them).
