Without pointing fingers or naming names, I will say simply this: no one is getting any younger – the time you waste chasing sex and running from intimacy will be time you are BEGGING FOR on your death bed.

Ladies and gentlemen, tell those cover stories walking. Stop lying to yourself and everyone else, grow up and get to making REAL connections with REAL people who love and care for who you REALLY are.

And by the way – and not to put too fine a point upon it – if you do not, they will move on to someone else who will. Make no mistake, you will regret it.

• Stop being a coward. Stop running away.
• Stop getting caught up in petty bullshit (“he would never put the seat down,” “she wouldn’t shave her pubes”).
• Stop making shallow decisions (“I could never date a man without a car,” “She doesn’t know how to dress herself”).
• Stop following an ideal picture in your head when you have NO IDEA what it takes to create, and sustain, real relationships with real people.
