“It followed me home. Can I keep it?”
Anyone, Anywhere
((The Steampunk Tarot, Moore and Fell))
Given the way things have been going, I cannot help but feel Strength is a little late to the party. Better late than never, I suppose. But seriously, is this trip necessary? Really???? Evidently, yes.
Although we cannot see it, it seems likely to me our young-but-worldly-wise heroine is armed – likely with a blade of some kind (Steampunk, remember) – and therefore not at all helpless in her situation. Why is that important? Because all the strength depicted in this card is CHOSEN. She chooses to be brave, he chooses to be vulnerable (to her). She chooses to help, he chooses to accept her help. They both chooses mercy and gratitude.
TAKEAWAY: Brute strength will not be the answer as we endure a powerful combination of astro-weather (retrogrades), terra-weather (heat waves, flash floods), and personal storms (life changes, hot flashes, politics). The velvet glove will be so much more useful to us than the iron fist….although we keep it close by for ready access if situations call for it.
REMINDER: These are all marathons rather than sprints; patience and bravery are required, making Strength very much welcome. And as always, best of luck to us all. (Because a little luck – like faith trust and pixie dust – never hurts!)
