Establishment. Defense. Disappointment.

Welcome to the weekend. We are expecting severe heat this weekend – possible high of 104 degrees Saturday and Sunday – so when I see things are heating up, please believe me.

Let’s take a look at the cards: We know what we want our lives to be (or at least how we would like them to appear – fake it to you make it is not an invalid strategy), we are prepared fight for what we want, and we will likely lack grace in defeat if we do not get what we want (well, okay  – we are only human after all).

REMINDER: YOU ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT DIE OF SHAME!!

AND THAT GOES DOUBLE FOR DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

Frankly, this seems the perfect weekend to take a pass on the energy. Take the weekend off, and spend it at your leisure; take the time to relax, rest, maybe indulge in a guilty pleasure (to each their own, no judgement here!), and do not buy in to anyone’s idea of drama, not even your own. Do what you can to remain cool and comfortable where you are.. AND ENJOY YOURSELF!
