“This is your victory, not mine. I did not do this alone.”
Barbara Moore
((The Steampunk Tarot, Moore and Fell))
Our hero looks uncomfortable. Despite his victory, he does not appear to bask in the light of his admirers but rather, he would shrink from it if he could; he may even feel a bit the fraud. He has done nothing wrong – in fact, he did many, many things right – but he does not want their adulation. Why? Because he knows the only real truth:
He could not have done it without them!
Time to realize and recognize the importance of our personal networks. No one lives in a vacuum; we touch each other every day in a thousands ways, and we may never know our true influence on anyone else. So often, we keep our own counsel and never share with others how helpful, kind, or inspirational we have found them to be.
TAKEAWAY: Be grateful. Be kind. Be helpful.
The world needs you, even if it never says so.
