“In the smallest of moments, a few words can destroy what took years to create.” Barbara Moore
((The Steampunk Tarot, Moore and Fell))
“Don’t tell me what I’m doing; I don’t want to know.” Federico Fellini
Learning can be useful. It can also be overwhelming, dispiriting, and exhausting. There is a very real reason why, although knowledge is power, ignorance is bliss. Bottom line: just because I need to know does NOT mean I want to know, thank you very much for your interest!
Of course as always, the good news here is that we are not going to die on this hill, and we are better off for knowing the truth – no matter how much we hate it.
And as also always, the bad news is we REALLY hate this! This stings with bitter disappointment tears. Alas. Again. DAMMIT!
Rage a bit if you must, then move along. Think of it as a tetanus shot; this is not so bad, and you are better off.
