Disappointment. Defense. Manifestation.

Welcome to the first weekend of the  New Year – how are those resolutions going?

Yeah. Mine, too.

That brings us to the cards: The struggle is real. It is a struggle with ourselves – our own disappointment, our own doubts, our own defensiveness. Yes, the struggle is very real.  But here is the good news; looks like we might be winning!

Yes, I know, it feels like hanging on by our fingernails but that is okay because – now get this bit – we ARE hanging on, and that is the important part right now.

I know it may be hard to see the forest for the trees right now but as we know, we must trust the process. Our resolutions are not magic bullets, they are goals (usually difficult goals, long-term commitments) and if we are honest, opportunities to learn some things about ourselves (important, not necessarily flattering, things).

We can do this. We will do  this. We are doing this.
