LOOK WHO HAS RETURNED!!!

This is not really a surprise – there seems to be a need for unvarnished truth these days. So with that, let’s kick this off:

• NAZIS ARE BAD!!! (This is not up for debate so please do not try to start one.)
• NATIVE AMERICAN LIVES MATTER!!!
• BLACK LIVES MATTER!!!
• WOMEN’S LIVES MATTER!!!

((NOTE: Certainly, ALL lives do matter but sometimes, you need to spotlight areas of struggle particularly when no improvement seems to be in sight despite the clamor for change.))

Right now – and I do mean RIGHT NOW! – we stand on the edge of history, staring into a new pit that has opened up at our feet brought about by self-serving, fragile-egoed movements such as Men’s Empowerment (AS IF!), White Nationalists (AS IF!!), and some old enemies such as Nazis and the KKK (AS IF! AS IF!! AS IF!!!).

The time to stand up, the time to speak up, the time to say “NO!” to all of this was probably twenty years ago when we should have been seriously deciding what to do about sustainability rather than denying climate science. However, since we were too busy believing all the best parts of the Clinton Era would never end, we managed to let it slip away but since we missed it, let’s stand up and say so right this damn minute!

WE ARE NOT DOING THIS!!!!  

• NO! I do not have to respect everyone’s opinion.
• NO! I do not have to tolerate hate speech.
• NO! I do not have to honor your history.
• NO! NO! NO! IT IS ALL JUST ENOUGH NOW!!!

We do not have time for racism and bigotry, personal or institutional!! Same goes for sexism, jingoism, and elitism!!
