((The Steampunk Tarot, Moore and Fell))
Mercury Retrograde got you down? Dreading the lunar eclipse? Feeling sluggish in mind, body and spirit?
Yeah – it’s been going around.
The September Full Moon has many names but I have chosen to focus on Singing Moon; let us make a joyful noise as we embrace Autumn and prepare for Winter. If we are harvesting, we shall sings songs of gratitude. If we are creating, we shall sing songs of welcome. We shall greet the moon, the harvest, the season, the eclipse, the changes around us as well as within us, with joyful noise!
(And, I can hear you, “Joyful? Who’s joyful? Mercury Retrograde, etc, dammit!”)
Yes, I know. What I am telling you is, “FAKE IT ‘TIL YOU MAKE IT!”
I know it’s been rough and the cards remind us; none of this is permanent, effort has rewards, and the only stopping you from happiness is you. Time to rest, relax, rethink, reorganize – and rejoice! You do not need a reason any greater than life itself; every day is a new opportunity to go a new way.
Use this month’s energy to rejuvenate yourself; let go of what does not serve, declutter your mind and your space, and prepare your home to welcome the change of season.
QUICK TIPS: Need a little help getting into the mood?
- Pick up seasonal fragrance candles to burn in your kitchen and living room.
- Bake a dessert (maybe with apples?).
- Drink a seasonal beverage (apple cider? pumpkin latte? spiced herbal tea?).
