ARE YOU READY TO MAKE SOME MAGIC????
No? Too bad because this is the time!
It is time to pick a direction and move forward with it. MAKE! CREATE! INVEST! INVENT! Pursue your passions and come into your own. Do you write? Then WRITE! Do you paint? Then PAINT! Whatever you do, whatever you care about, whatever you want – make it yours now!
I know what you are thinking, “Let’s be practical. It is fine to say now is the time but then what?” Fair question – the following suggestions are meant to help you move forward in meaningful pursuit.
STEP 1: Time for healing. Summer is the perfect season for rejuvenation. Get outside! Walk in the sun. Splash in the lake. Start your day standing outside, take in a deep breath and stretch to the sun! These small moments will help you release negativity and grow positivity.
STEP 2: Healthy habits. Summer fruits and veggies are appearing at farmers markets and farm stands – a great time to eat mindfully, increasing fresh produce and reducing processed foods. Adding some exercise – a walk, a bike ride, a swim, yoga on the beach – to your regular schedule is also a very good idea.
STEP 3: Take a nap. Rest is an important part of rejuvenation. In addition to a “good night’s sleep” (eight hours is a good guideline), consider adding a 20 to 40 minute nap to your regular schedule.
STEP 4: Let it go. If it is gone, let it go. If it no longer serves you, let it go. If it makes you unhappy, let it go. You do not need to be weighed down.
STEP 5: Count your blessings with gratitude: Your life is full of wonderful things, great and small. It is not enough to enjoy the convenience. Recognize the blessing in your life, and be grateful for them – other people long for what you already take for granted.
STEP 6: Look forward. Allow yourself the vision of future accomplishments and blessings – you must be able to see it before you can create it. And you certainly can create it.
STEP 7: Just do it! You know what you must do, so do it.
The time is now and it belongs to you – make good use of it!
