“The gentle silence of Death takes all your sorrow, transforms it, and gives it back to you as love.” Barbara Moore
Maybe it is this time of year (holiday season). Maybe it is the weather
(winter approaching, albeit slowly). Or maybe, just maybe, because it is time. Time to realize old habits (includes love, work, relationship, food, exercise – anything, really) may not be serving us. Have we outgrown them? Perhaps we were never served by these habits – maybe we were just lazy? The truth is, it doesn’t matter. We are here now.
The desire to grieve for whatever we leave behind is very strong; this is not a weakness but a natural part of healing and growth. It is okay to be frightened, or tearful, or angry; acknowledge, respect and honor your feeling – and then let them go.
Move on with strong, purposeful strides. This is your time of transformation – be brave and embrace it with fervor.
