It’s Father’s Day Weekend! Shout out to all dads everywhere!!

This looks like a good weekend to make some serious moves and reap the rewards. This is a nice change of pace from the energy we have been wrestling as of late

As we know from astro forecasts, the energy (and our luck!) improves under recently direct Jupiter. Let us be grateful for any wins we can catch. CAUTION: As always, please be aware that nothing lasts forever – enjoy the moment but be prepared to move on to the next thing at a moment’s notice.

Feeling a bit like a pin cushion? Yeah, me too.

For the second time in a week, we have learned the error of our ways – clearly, we landed in the wrong brier patch.

On the upside, it is done now; take a day or so to rest, regroup – and start fresh on Monday! 

PRACTICAL MAGIC TIP: You will benefit from some serious self-care – be sure to add some grounding! It need not be complicated – take a walk outside, rain or shine. If the sun shines, visualize negativity burning off as each step connects you to the earth; if it is raining, visualize the negativity washing off of you as you grind it beneath your feet with every grounding step. REMEMBER: Only you are in charge of how you handle your energy. Do the best you can as you see it, and it will be enough in that moment.

This is not a week for executives, it is a week of work in action! Roll up your sleeves and get down to it – you know what needs to be done and there will be no more avoiding it.

This is an opportunity to show off your  leadership skills from the front-lines; show everyone what you are made of – starting with yourself!

Look who’s back! Just a week ago, he was here telling us, “Pick something already!” What? We didn’t pick right???? 

Chances are, probably not. Last week was rough on a great many people for an assortment of reasons, all of which boiled down to an overall too-much-energy-not-enough-me feeling of haplessness.

THE GOOD NEWS: You can pick again!

THE MORE GOOD NEWS: You can always pick again.

THE LESS GOOD NEWS: You cannot avoid picking.

Is a graceful exit more important than a gracious one? I don’t know and it really doesn’t matter – TIME TO GO!

This is not a long good-bye; stand up, bid all farewell, and leave. You have places to go, things to do, matters to attend, decisions to make – you must go your own way, and you must do it now.

If you happen upon others going your way, you may consider traveling together for a time (this not The Hermit!) but remember you are on your own path; you must see it through to the end your own way. You cannot make changes for the benefit of others, you will need to part when these differences appear. This is NOT selfish, it is your responsibility.

Inevitability. Independence. Surrender.

The weekend has arrived, and a good thing, too – we are tired!

Last week was trying, and we needed the weekend to rest. This week has been trying but it is not quite over yet, and we will likely see the Full Moon Weekend* summed as follows:

“Well, it’s done. That really sucked. Thank goodness it is over. I’m just going to rest here a minute, please.”

Once again, I suggest you employ some self-care; you will need the rest and rejuvenation to move forward into the next week.

PRACTICAL MAGIC TIP: THROW IT INTO THE FIRE! Whenever you feel particularly anxious about something, speak your fear out loud as you jot it down on paper; tear up the paper, toss it into the fire  and watch your anxieties burn away – feel yourself powered by the fire! (NOTE: Practice all usual fire safety precautions – do NOT put your hand in the fire.)

THE GOOD NEWS: Lots of stuff going on in the heavens as well as here on the ground – plenty for everyone to do!

THE BAD NEWS: We are in a bit of a holding pattern; your patience is appreciated…and required.

There has been a great deal of movement as of late – planets dancing around in interesting ways, energy spurring us on in every direction, the full moon is calling, the fever is high, and the wicked wind whispers and moans…sorry, I started to slip away for a second but it is just that kind of energy! And that is EXACTLY why we will need to be patient with ourselves as well as others – the false starts discussed last week are still twitching in the weeds awaiting unwary travelers. 

TAKEAWAY: Do not be in a hurry – measure three times, ask twice, cut once.

Like it or not, decisions must be made.

It would be great if you enjoyed the process but it simply is not necessary.

You don’t have to like it; you just have to do it.

REMEMBER: Not choosing is also a choice.

If you refuse to choose for yourself, choices will ultimately be made for you (by other people, events, circumstances, etc.) outside of your control, and likely without regard for your happiness. If you imagine you will have avoided “fault” or “responsibility” for the results, you are very much mistaken; your avoidance will lead to a mess you will have no choice but to clean-up.

Since it is all on you either way, wouldn’t you prefer the choice to have been yours in the first place? Stop dragging your feet, pick a lane, move forward!

The Victorians insisted death be accompanied by a great deal of dramatic flair, and no small sense of style.

What foolishness! We have no time for this!!

THE GOOD NEWS: This is your opportunity to start something new!

If you intended it or not, you have come to a full stop on your path – a failed project, a lost job, a loan fallen through – whatever the circumstance, that avenue is now closed to you. You may not like it. You may greet it with sadness, disappointment, and frustration, but you will have no choice but to accept it. There is nothing to be done. It is over.

The Death card signals the definite end making way for the new beginning – rebirth, if you will.  And while you may not have asked for it, it is yours nonetheless. Make the most of it!
