((The Steampunk Tarot, Moore and Fell))
You win some, you lose some. Okay, no big deal, we know it. But that does not mean it does not hurt. Some losses are routine (missed out on the last blueberry muffin) but some others are not (loan for the house fell through), and we feel a sense of loss, hurt. You feel a sense of grief.
Do not suppress your disappointment. What ever your feelings are, acknowledge and experience them, then let them go. Do not allow anyone to hold your emotions hostage – and that includes you!

The cards above follow two days of committed action (see previous post regarding Eight of Wands) with a message for progress. We are reminded of the strength already within, and new ideas encouraged. While decisions may not come easily, they will be well-made with focused attention. Do not dismiss good ideas just because they are outside the known comfort zone; a little discomfort is good for growth. And isn’t Spring the perfect time to grow?

If you follow this space (or any other, really) you know we have had many messages regarding thinking and planning, reviewing and revising. Now, we return to deciding.
The time has come to make the tough decisions, and commit fully to the decisions you make. Release any fear holding you back, and follow your best instincts.
You know what to do – get out there and do it!!
GERONIMO!!

Of course you have! We all have. And it is a difficult thing because your heart, mind and intuition can become snarled up and your decision-making can become muddled. Under such circumstances, it is easy to make decisions against your best interests.
When in doubt, exit stage left! If you cannot figure it out, if it is too tangled to sort, just remove yourself from the equation. Do not worry about missed opportunities. Distance often brings clarity, and decisions are often easier to make when the full picture comes into view.
