08/10/16 READING: It’s blowing in the wind. The Tower.
You will find the reading at the bottom, under the last two cards.
We like to build things; play things with blocks, sculptures with clay, buildings with brick. Humans like to build things – monuments to ourselves as a race (Tower of Babel), or to individuals of genius (Frank Lloyd Wright), or in the names of gods (and goddesses – Notre Dame Cathedral) – if for no other reason because it proves we were here. We build. We renovate. We raze. We rebuild. From towering sky-scrapers to ornate cathedrals to featureless strip malls – WE BUILD! And we call it progress, even when it lacks improvement.

If this reading seems more of a ramble of ideas, please bear with me; as of late, I have been pondering this card a great deal and I have many thoughts on its appearance today, and its general presence on our lives.
We often talk about making our own way, affecting change, et cetera, but the truth of the matter is, there are some things beyond us; beyond our knowledge, beyond our reach, beyond our abilities. Simply put, the Universe is chock-full of moving parts and the vast majority of them have absolutely nothing to do with us – we could not matter less. And believe it or not, that is actually a good thing. They are “The Mysteries of The Universe” for a very good reason; not only is our input not required, it is not wanted.
We are here today because we had ancestors strong enough, bold enough, or clever enough to live, drive and survive – they surfed The Wheel! No pity-wallowing at the bottom, no laurel-sitting at the top! There was always too much to do in preparation for the next wave. Additionally, they had a secret weapon.
That’s right! They knew when and how to be grateful!
Last week, I was presented with the card below* and a directive to ponder all the meaning contained in the card. I have been doing exactly as directed – ponder, ponder, ponder.I have come away with a simple message: all things are possible so be both gracious and grateful, win or lose.

*I do not remember where I first saw the Ganesh Wheel (as I have come to call it to myself), nor do I know the deck from which it comes. If you recognize the deck or the original post, please post in Comments for credit where credit is due. Thank you.

The weekend has returned but if you were hoping for rest, this is not the time. The projects you have been pursuing require a push towards manifestation – have the serious conversations, do the homework, pursue the results.
You will be challenged, and should expect some set-backs, but you are well-armed for these battles and you know what you want to accomplish.
Do not be intimidated. Do not be deterred.
