It is important to remember Swords do not represent thoughts alone; they include the movement that follows. The King makes the final decision, and once the course has been decided, action is immediate.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The action may be swift but the thought process need not be. This is not an invitation to rush to judgement – The King will not be rushed in his consideration of planning and design – but rather to make well-considered decisions before the action begins.
Happy Monday! Enjoy the week!!

The weekend is finally here – and a good thing, too. This week has been exhausting; the astroweather has been chock-full of conflicting energy, leaving us feeling antsy, irritable and fuzzy around the edges. (For more regarding astroweather, see here and here.) There is no shortage of things to be done but motivation proves elusive on several fronts. A break to regroup is in order.
The cards above serve to remind us of the importance of both community and solitude. We need the friendship and fellowship provided by our tribe; we are strengthened by shared energy, joy, stories, and the effort to maintain connections outside of ourselves. We gather knowledge from each other by sharing experiences; not all news is positive but it is all useful, and generally, we are better for knowing rather than not knowing. Knowledge is not only transferable but also portable – we can draw from it as we need when we go our own ways.

People are busy – respect their time. If you cannot, or will not, be able to meet your commitments, do not involve yourself; do not create scenarios where people depend on you – have the courage and the honesty to admit your limitations.
If you have committed to a project, people are counting on you. Give it all you’ve got without excuses or complaints; if you have lost interest in the project, or you find it more challenging than you thought it would be, too bad – suck it up!
